It means that the rating displayed in the leaderboard is your worst possible one.

It's like that because even you can perform at your "peak" rating, it's more likely that you will never perform under your minimal one. So this is the best comparison possible for the leaderboard.

and how can the percentage to have a exact rating of 1498 be higher than the percentage to be in a complete range of rating?

Because being at 1498 is inside the 66% chances of being between X and X.

The colored area is 100% of your possible rating. The lighter color is 66% of the possible rating. The chances that you will perform at your highest peak are different than that.

ah ok you should write "the leaderboard displays the lower bound of your rating range" or something like that.

All these examples are players from the DB.

rating3.PNG
rating2.PNG
rating1.PNG

You can save the graphs in PNG, rescale, zoom,...

Later, I will add player comparison (you can compare your rating to another player, with your probabilities of winning over him).

number of players online?

You have it on top of Aeolus chat.
noobymcnoobcake wrote:
number of games in progress?

All the games are in the replay tab.

noobymcnoobcake wrote:
total number of games played?

That would be the Uid of the game. (even it also count not-started games). But it will be in the replay vault.

noobymcnoobcake wrote:
Average rating of all players?

Easy one, the system is designed to have 66% of the players around the 1500 average. With deviation, that would be around 1200-1300 in rating.

And last time I've checked, it was the case.

By the way, it was not a feature of GPGNET but a third party website.
