Anything you want to load quickly put on the SSD.

For me I never bother changing the default installation for programs. Most of them are small enough that it's not going to make much of a difference as far as storage goes. It's things like games and media that I do a better job of allocating what goes where. I default to putting my games on the HDD unless I know I'm going to be playing it often and it will benefit from decreased load times. In general, actual gameplay isn't affected by HDD vs. SSD.

Anything will benefit from the SSD. Your goal should be to get everything on it, but if you can't put items you don't use as often on the HDD.

I remember leaving my room for a couple minutes to go do something else while I waited for my PC to boot up on a HDD. Now with and SSD, for example, the OS is loaded and I'm logging into FAF or whatever game/program I want to use.

Holy crap I totally didn't even look at the storage assuming it would be SSD...

Search for an SSD on slickdeals.net or woot.com and buy one NOW. You can get a Samsung 840 series 256GB for like ~$60 +/- $10; there is no excuse for not having one.

Nowadays, it is a mistake to build a PC without an ssd. Storage speed is the single biggest bottleneck, and while for main storage HDD is still cheaper, your OS and most played games\programs should be on an SSD. It is the single best 100 bucks you can spend on a PC build. I have a 240 gig ssd and a 1tb hdd for recordings and movies/music etc.

Haha, yes your PC will run this 9 year old game fine <3

Although on a side note, when i built my pc i now have troubles with 1: my HDD is not that good and 2: i didnt buy a sound card, and now i suffer around on a usb soundcard as a result,

but hey, im not too much of a tech expert, so i hope this helps <3

Recently about to get back into FAF with a brand new build. I quit FAF because my computer was unable to handle the game now however I started building my pc and here are the specs:
