As for coding it myself, yes. I have an algorithm, I could probably make it in C with a bit of help.
I would a bit more help to do it in LUA.. I know That once you have learned 1 language its relatively easy to learn another one, but I barely know C at all... Just bits and pieces.The most important part is that I would code it myself.

Anyways, Kal, I do recall you said you'd learn some coding to make the ladder better, which I applaud. I'm not sure you realize the scope of what it takes to code it but hope you are willing to live up to that. I think you are because I know you are as passionate about this game as I am.

Please forgive me as I'm just really frustrated with a lot of things going on here lately. I'm so close to leaving it's not even funny.

Well, its not THAT well-thought and has some flaws. If there is a casual ladder with unrated games, its easy to make a smurf and stomp newbies and baddies for all eternity. Not sure how to adress that but since even Zock and TA were unable to push any major changes to ladder with council powers, it doesnt matter anyway.

I really don't like the lack of diversity of the types of maps since every week there is always 6-7 overplayed maps and many good and interesting maps that are never picked.
Not to mention I feel it should tailor towards the lower end of players and include 1 or 2 more 5x5 maps. Since they like smaller maps and they make up the majority of the community, although only 1 or 2 maps should be added so that the oligarchy of FAF don't complain.

I'm probably alone in this. But I find ladder boring now, and surprisingly only half due to the lack of activity of the higher players. I think the system needs a rework.
