If all people care about is the console....

haha. you kidding? consoles are counting their last and they know it. More and more people are moving to Windows, Mac and even Linux gaming. it shows in how desperate the maneuvers have become ever since the start of the fourth generation. Exclusives out the wazoo... they're pouring back all the money they made just to keep the money pig going a little while longer. Indeed, nowadays a person that is *entirely* new to the gaming world actually considers the options outside of the console world whereas this was nearly unheard of before. (except for those of us who were virtually born into it EG: their first game ever was a PC game bought by their parents.)

this situation is driving consoles to the edge because, of course it doesn't take a genius to realize that consoles compare disfavorably.

so yeah. a little misunderstanding there. Consoles aren't trending up, they're trending down.

CTs time is over. He will never top his old games TA and SC1.
All he needs is money. He had is great moments but its not his century anymore.
he should hide somewhere in a cave instead of talking about all the things that he made after his diamonds.
what was the name of his newest idea? caveman? .... it would be laughable if it wasn't that sad.
i will never trust this man again.. it's just a waste of time to listen to him.

sorry for this, but anyway, its just my opinion..

No strategic zoom = instant flop with TA/SupCom fans. I made it very clear to them on the forums: Most people who played these games won't go back to a minimap design, no matter how refined it is. We just won't.

PA was a complete turd.... so maybe CT isn't such a douch... maybe the more directly involved the guy is, the better?

Then again... so many turds... like his attempt to make some lame medieval game after every good RTS.

I am really hoping "Ashes of the Singularity" will be awesome... so we RTS fans can have an newer game than 2007

And as for the kickstarter of WIldman . I don't see how anyone could be dissapointed or felt betrayed. He made it pretty clear what the game would look like and be about, no?

Dropping 40-50 clams on a title that's not what it claims to be wont make CT many friends. It's why Wildman died on the starting block. Lots of pissed off / butthurt (your words) people who pre-purchased SC2, didn't answer CT's Kickstarter drive.

It's pretty clear that he profited off of the release of SC-2 despite knowing it wasn't the release he was hoping for. In that context how can you trust someone like this?

Resin

He profited off a product he released, what a bad guy.

Profiting off the displeasure, hardship or frustrations of others definitely qualifies. Unless of coarse your a weak-minded fanboy who'll buy anything CT publishes?

BTW last time I checked, SC-2 was an utter flop for PC but did well on console. Obviously the FAF gaming community (PC-gamers) was not the target audience. This is despite several reassuring videos from CT promising everything that the released version of SC-2 was not. If you don't believe me, go back and look at several of the commentaries / posts prior to the release. Hell for that matter try playing the beta copy (if you can get a it) as allot of the functionality was enabled and later removed for the final release. (#1 on the list, modding via hook'ing)

To top thing off, this happened not once but with two back-to-back releases. Anyone remember Demi-God?
