Yea you can the game the mod starts the game in the split view and move the ui so you van ha e the game viewable on both sides

To which mod are you referring?

If the DualScreen mod, my understanding is that it doesn't work if the two screens are different sizes, which is the case for me.

How do you "move" the UI?

Try using full screen, it doesn't crash in full screen for me.

Btw, you can also try this:

Nope - no script - just the built-in dual monitor settings.

Ah yes works for me as well now. At first, it crashed when joining/hosting a lobby. But when I changed the lobby from being windowed to full screen it worked fine.

With 2 monitors, my 2nd monitor is in portrait mode. I found I can only use it by setting the resolution on the second monitor much, much lower. So i've got a "giant minimap" on my second monitor. But I rarely get to swiveling my head over there to look at it, and I have a regular minimap on my primary monitor. So it isn't actually doing much for me.

But there's not really anything else I could use the second monitor for. SupCom doesn't have the option to display graphs or other information, not that I would necessarily stop and read a graph during the game. It might be nice to just glance over and see a list of all nuke launchers and how far along they are, or a mex count along with some indicators whether i have spare mass I should consider investing in a mex upgrade. Or charts tracking economic factors like how much e/mass is in storage/overflowing or how severe a stall is. Like you would look over at the chart and it would show you for the last 60 seconds how solid your economy was, which could help you to make decisions about whether to invest in more build capacity/mexes or to pause factories or just leave things as they are. Or maybe that would just be stupid. It's hard to know how useful such things would be without testing them. I'm guessing it's just not very useful. Almost certainly not worth investing the time to design those UI elements in order to find out if they are useful.

At some point, some random Windows 10 update started allowing this to work again - but with one caveat - don't even think of alt-tabbing out. If you do so, the graphics driver will not recover properly (and this could simply be a graphic card driver issue) and you will not be able to return to the game (I personally just get a blank grey screen).

Having said that, I still use it anyways - cannot live without real dual screens.

Thanks for letting us know. Do you use a script or something? Or the build-in dual monitor settings?
