So I'm having an issue with the latest version of FAF and figured general discussion would be a good place for this since it's a bit beyond tech support.
We all know the "2nd adapter" function for SupCom has it's own share of issues/problems so much so that before this I just gave up playing FAF on multiple monitors. The good news is using this UI mod I've been able to go to windowed mode and play the game on all 3 screens while "fixing" the UI back to center. Performance is great, no problems, it even remembers your layout when you load in so past the initial setup it's effortless.
This is what it looks like on my setup spanned across 3 monitors:

It's super clean, I can alt-tab easily without flashing the screen, and could theoretically scale to however many monitors you want to run! 3x3 grid? Make it happen!
The issue is it looks like the latest FAF patch broke it... and I'm very much unlikely to patch it on my own. I was hoping someone here wouldn't mind taking a look at it since it's a huge quality of life improvement for anyone running 2, 3, or more monitors.
In the broader sense though, how would you guys feel about rolling that functionality into main? The ability to customize your UI window positions is really nice and would effectively add quality multi-monitor support to the long list of FAF improvements to SupCom. I imagine most of the work is already done, where now it's just a matter of hunting down what change in the last version or so that broke it.
Anyways I think it's a really valuable feature. I'd really appreciate the help getting it working again!
Thanks!

EDIT: Wow, ok so it looks like "UI Lag Fix" breaks it, disabling that mod lets MovableUI work again. Sorry about the post guys.
On that note, I still think Moveable UI is a great candidate for a default FAF UI mod, as I said above. Please consider it!Statistics: Posted by LordXenos — 03 Aug 2015, 09:05
