No, because it indeed is impossible. Most of the heavy lifting will be done server side. If that heavy lifting is done, then it will be trivial to implement it in any client. Unless you are contributing to server code now, it's not really a perk of your client to implement this right?

Note, I'm not trying to be pedantic (also no hate for your work). I just didn't fully understand what you meant with that it would be implemented in your client.

It's all about do you want your talent to be usefull to thousands of players or to be used only as a hobby? :|

I'll try to add this to Downlord's client.

we had another idea anyways (that I think is on-topic) about running algorithms through the replay pool as well, looking for certain stats that might make certain replays pop out for certain criteria.

Casters could configure the algorithm to their liking.

for example : sheppard could scan for high kill count and low HP. .... :)

Would be nice to be able also to improve search replays by faction and make the map search less sensitive. For example if you search "the pyramid" map you will not find games with "the pyramid 5v5"
