The nomad files are located at:

Code:: C:\ProgramData\FAForever\gamedata\*.nmd

All files with the fileextension ".nmd" are nomad files.
You can simply clear the whole "FAForever\gamedata\" folder.
It will download again, if you try to launch a game from the FA client.

You could also try to delete your game.prefs file:

Code:: "C:\Users\_YourName_\AppData\Local\Gas Powered Games\Supreme Commander Forged Alliance\Game.prefs"

To check, if your sound is crashing the game, you can start the game without sound.

Make a desktopshortcut from:

Code:: C:\ProgramData\FAForever\bin\ForgedAlliance.exe

Then add the command line parameter /nosound:

Code:: C:\ProgramData\FAForever\bin\ForgedAlliance.exe /init init_nomads.lua /nosound

/init init_nomads.lua will load the nomads mod, if present.
/nosound will start the game without sound.

you wouldn't happen to know where the nomads mod is installed to? i can only find pieces of it perhaps removing it and re-installing it would fix it

Hello Kiefy,

the error is more or less known.
At the momemnt we don't have a solution.

We trace this bug here:
https://github.com/FAForever/fa/issues/1445

Maybe some other forum post can help you there.
(My guess, its the sound card /settings)

nomads crash

I am getting this crash when i play with nomads at roughly the hour mark but it varies on games. Any help would be appreciated with this problem as i love playing with the nomads but if the game is going to crash constantly before a match finishes there is no point.
