I think you meant to say SCUs, cause from what I recall the UEF one does had model parts for a jetpack, I can't remember off-hand for the other factions.

I believe it was supposed to be Mech marines.
Every unit was to have an alternative mode. Some of them (harbs/mantises) made it in, most did not.

IIRC the TVG mod has jetpacking ACU's. Its great fun!

i think i remember taylor said something like that, but that was purely brabbling about possibiltys. i am sure i never saw anything codet or ingame action like that.
yet he made it true in SC2

you sure you didnt mistake the UEFStratMissileUP for a jetpack ^^

and even if, i would never use something like that on my commander. easiest way to get urself killed by imba Interceptors
