Usecases for the Billy Nuke

Hey,

This is not a post to suggest a balance change, but just a question.

In what circumstances is it good to make a Billy Nuke? I haven't tried using it often, but the times I did, it costed a lot of mass and buildpower only to see it quickly get countered by tmd. So what am I missing?

You aren't missing anything it is garbage because it costs too much.

Nah it can be good tool if you can sneak it into enemy base. Nothing like getting enemy smd/pgens out with it.

Yup, and by the time you can afford billy nuke, there is no way they wont have shields/tmd where it can reach.

Well it's a cheese weapon that basically gives you option of shooting single time so you have to make it count. Think of it like cybran tele mazer but you don't have to have suicide tendencies to use it. Also you can afford it way earlier before enemy get's to shield all of his stuff. That it unless you were hitting him with TML before.

The only realistic use for billy is to nuke armies (unless you meet a wild loya) and there are some very rare moments where it's actually good enough, but those moments are very sparse.
