Does your rating go down if your Commander dies?

I've been playing FAF for years and I've gotten contradictory answers to this question. Obviously, in a 1v1, when your commander dies you lose the match.

However, in a ranked custom teamgame, there have been many times where I've personally lost my commander and all my units went up in smoke, but my team still won. I don't think I've ever really ranked down after a game like that, but that just happened last game I played and I was wondering if suicide telesnipes to take out a Yolona Oss are worth it, even if they allow my team to win.

The only thing that counts is the game result.

Nothing else than which team wins has any impact on rating.

Ah, thanks. Good to know. I suppose a question related to that arises then-- when your commander dies and you're prompted to press "Score" at the top of the screen, you leave the match. Do you have to stay till the match is over to get the results on your rating, or are you free to leave, join another game, and when the original game finishes your rating will update?

rating changes occur after the game result is on the server -> you leaving before the game is over won't change anything
