4,6GHz on AMD FX-series nets you 220. 4,7GHz is 207. 4,2GHz is 245 if I recall correctly.
Higher boost is just as good as base clock for FA.Hyper-threading and multi-threading don't really matter either. FA threads are bottle-necked by single-core speed. As long as you have at least two cores, you're fine.

That will probably get you very close to 250 but not much past. Likely around 260 I'd wager.
Actually, I can try downclocking mine to that and check.

If you're just upgrading your CPU and that's the slot you're stuck with, it's probably a decent choice.
If you can afford to replace motherboard also, you're better off with an intel CPU if FAF is your only concern.

EDIT: Tested it out. It actually gets you 246.

No im doing a full upgrade, literally buying a new PC. Not for faf. FAF atm is only one game that can kill time and my potato can run a 3v3.

Unless you need the multitasking capabilities for something an intel i3 will serve FAF much better while being in the same price range. 245 CPU score for the AMD vs 175 score for the intel.
As a bonus, it will also use less power, meaning you can save on your PSU and electricity bill.
