One of the change is the aeon shield consumption being reduced to 75 (from 125).
It's not the case of the UEF one.
Why ?

The reason behind is that the shield is what is needed to make the difference for aeon at T2.
It's what allow them to deal with seraphim/uef/cybran Bots, as they don't have any long ranged weapon.
They also need them to deal with mobile MML (their TMD don't handle mobile MML at all).
It's also what allow their navy to work.

125 E was 467 mass in T1 pgen. + 144 mass for the shield itself, it was 612 mass (1,7 obsidian) just to make aeon T2 units viable against others T2.

On the other side, UEF have a range bot that fill the role of counter for other bots, and they have a better dedicated naval shield, so I don't feel like they need the same buff.
A case of faction diversity I guess.

If you fear spam, remember that stacked shields (for navy) are still ineffective.

At least you know the reasoning behind now (you can of course discuss it, but you know how I love replays :)

Check any replay of aeon going T2 in engy mod versus seraphim.

I tought UEF got tech2 mobile shield too. Change Aeon tech2 mobile shield but don't change uef?
like i change aeon tml but dont change other( its not like the tech1 gunship unique to cybran faction)

Yes cost is relative expensive when your tech2. But when your tech3 its not that expensive.(like seraphim tech2 bot still can be useful at tech3)

if aeon got problem at tech2 that problem is really mobile shields? i dont think, cause uef or seraphim havent got problem with their mobile shields either

bots are the problem not mobile shield.

yes its an idea to make better for aeon.

but this change doesn't affect only aeon tech2, it affects tech3, tech4 for all factions
because mobile shield its still useful there.

obsidian is 'bad' because bots kite it or we and so aeon tech2 is 'bad'.
so either change obsidian or change bots

i think obsidian is fine (cost, hp etc everything else but bad vs bots)

(imo should reduce tech2 bots(uef,cybran) speed and/or range or something

so aeon can use its obsidian tank and other factions can use their tanks too.
this way ideal army would be mixed with t2 bots and t1,t2 tanks etc not just tech2 bots and 'kite'...

(i play 1v1 uef most and cybran, aeon for teamgames)

No, because that's just taking away from factional diversity, aeon and sera are meant to have better shielding lore-wise anyways, it goes with their tech
