Updated map to ver 3 (file attachment below)

Can someone please upload to map vault as I don't have the client installed on my PC.

Hello GamerDreams2019ns,

well, you fixed the hill / transport issue with ramps :)

After testing your map i saw that you didn't create Amphibious waypoints. That's bad because engineers are using these waypoints.

So i added Amphibious waypoints to your map, and also better air waypoints.

The Air grid is following the landscape for better pathing:

I did not upload the map to the Vault.
That's simply because the upload is restricted to the author of the map. (you)
And in case i would upload the map, then you will never be able to make an update.
Only the first person who uploaded the map can make updates for the same map.

Hi Uveso,

I did follow your Hill-top path marker suggestion. But later I added a ramp for AI to go up to the hill becos I found out that the AI did NOT (re-edit - missed out the NOT) build any factory on top of hill as there is no way for units to get off the hill.

Thanks for the Air Path Marker tip. I can't follow your suggestion becos my pc is very slow at running the game. Lesser path marker may increase my game speed. Glad you added the Air way path marker.

But please upload to map vault so other gamers can play it as well. You will be the 1st and only uploader of this map becos I won't be able to upload it as I did not install the client.

Why are you unable to get the client on your PC?

Is there something incompatible?

No it is not that.
It is more of a security issue. Hope you understand.

This is a bit strange to me: if you don't have the client, you cannot play the game, and obviously can't play the map you made.

Have you even tested this map and know if it functions properly? We have rules about content in the vault, and if your map violates them in any way, it will be upon the person who uploads the map to answer to it.

That doesn't seem reasonable so I hope you understand. I'm sorry there are concerns about security that affect you.

One last thing, though: why is it you can have the map editor but not the client?

This is not the case.
If you have to much waypoints (400 or more per layer) then the game will freeze every 5-10 seconds for ~0.09 seconds.
That's like loosing a (FPS) frame every 10 seconds.
You can easily use 200-300 waypoints for every layer. Means 800-1200 waypoints for land, air, amphibious and naval together.

Well, at least i don't understand that.

1. We are using the client without any issues for hundreds of players.
2. I know the ppl who are coding the client. (Most of the community members too)
3. The source code of the client is public.
4. I am using the client and can't imagine any secure issues with it.

Would you be so kind and tell us where you see any security issues with the client ?
