Layout looks good so far. A little patch worky though. The shapes could need a little more flowing together I think. Maybe you can amend that with textures.

Oh, yeah the finished v1.0 is in the vault now. Thanks for the feedback, though.

Visual fix to Norfair to make it so there is less eye strain. I did not like having to "back down" the "you are in hell" look, but for the sake of gameplay, here it is. Let me know if this is better so it doesn't piss anyone off in the tourney this Saturday:

Looks good. But the main thing I'd like to know is if the light brown texture you've made largely coincides with the green areas you see when you've made the slope visible in the editor.

For the most part, yes, but keep in mind this is not a simple map. Also, in the OzoneX editor green, yellow, and orange could be passable for units. The meaning is whether the speed is slightly compromised between yellow and orange:

Hey. I've been looking for a sorta specific 1v1 map, but haven't been able to find it. Today I lurked around figuring out how to make the map myself, but this is way beyond what I'm capable of doing skilfully. It'll just end up being a mess and I won't be happy playing, or making anyone else, play on it.

I read that there's a big push by a few mapping vets to create quality maps.

I ended up here, Morax, since your map-stuff-related thread is the most active. Do you take requests? If not, do any of the others take requests? If doubly not, do any of you take commissions?
