people saying this shouldn't be changed because "faction diversity" are hilarious
making things different just because is asinine, if you have a real reason why things should be different perhaps these differences create interest in the game or interesting scenarios then let's hear that. otherwise your mentality is exactly what stands in the way of progress, not just for the community, but society as a whole. the default is not always the optimal - maybe you'll respond to that a with a "if it aint broke dont fix it," with that attitude we'd still be living in caves and eating our food raw. no thanks, leave the faction diversity to blizzard or someone who actually knows what that means - FA is not a game of faction diversity, it's a game of information and increasing the burden of nuance on players is not only unnecessary and superfluous it serves to hurt the expansion of the community. Call this what it is: faction nuance, not faction diversity.
for the record this change won't affect anything one way or another the justifications are just too obtuse to ignore

FA is a game of economic micromanagement (what StarCraft players mistakenly call 'macro') and tactical trumping (e.g. T2 PD countering T1 Spam).
