New stuff:

New icon name for Mass Storage (Not sure what this actually does, Sheeo, could you elaborate?)
Tempest can no build hovering Aeon Land units (I'm personally against this without more time, but it's ready to roll and I'm told it has significant support)

If the beams are fixed now, can Cerberus be switched back to actual lasers? I really liked that the Cerberus shot like a realistic laser instead of light "projectiles" which are of course 100% bullshit from a physics perspective.

No. While hitting may (May not) be fixed, there's been no way found to fix the way the lasers show/don't show at odd moments thanks to fog of war, giving players data they shouldn't have.

This is for modability. It enables stuff like the advanced strategic icons mod to give mass storage a different icon, without having to do a blueprint merge which breaks compatibility with those not using the mod.

Uh what just happened?

I can explain why the mass storage change from being the same as T1 mex would be really useful? At the moment the T1 mex icon is really small in advanced strategic icons so that you can see an upgraded capped mex without zooming in. This is to avoid the mstores overlapping and covering up the mex. The trade off for this is it's really hard to tell if a scouted T1 mex has gone dark and been upgraded. If the two icons were separate this wouldn't be an issue, mstores could be small and not cover up capped mexes and t1 mexes could be big enough to easily tell if they'd been upgraded since you last scouted.

Sorry if I've missed the point and this is just a discussion of whether it goes in the "what's new" entry for the community (it really doesn't need to tbh), but if this is easy to do its really great for those of us using the mod.
