Tournament manager.

You can see for a long time the tournament tab in your lobby.
You maybe wonder what is behind.

Currently, this :

There is a full 1v1 swiss tournament support on the server.

Support :
- Can limit the number of players and the rating range to join.
- Compute the numbers of rounds needed.
- Register scores.
- Do the pairing for each round correctly, and managing byes if there is a non-even number of players.
- Make sure that there is a clear winner.
- Make sure that nobody get 2 byes or play the same player twice.
- Make people join a tournament channel.

Doesn't support :
- Tie-break score (will do).
- managing maps, time limit, time of launch, replay upload, ..
- managing results automatically.

In resume, it's challonge inside FAF, nothing more for now (a director must do manually work to enter scores,...).

And, as always, if it's not already available, it's because what is missing the most is the user interface.
While displaying the rounds,... is easy, managing the TD side is tiresome :

- Must make an option to remove players manually
- Must make an option to remove the tournament or edit some of his infos.
- Must make options to launch the tournament, enter result, validation of a round.

So, if someone can help me with that, it will be done in no time.

If not, it will probably never be there, and the tab will be eventually removed.

A Tournament manager is realy helpfull for TDs. It would be awesome to have one.
I would think about hosting tournaments again if we have a system like this.

We have that too but it's a manual operation.

I'm sorry, but my university has started again and algebraic number theory requires an insane amount of effort, so every free time thing I have left will be transformed in a complete laid-back style of playing a game and watching a bit of tv.

All is almost done (but it's a crude implementation of what I wanted originally).

I'm finishing all the tiresome DB work and it should be activated tomorrow. (and still looks like shit *hint*hint*)

i suggest a little redesign for this:

below the host button ( Swiss-type-tournament ) should be a little space free and then the list of the hosted tourneys (only names), and when you click on one it'll give you the full description and the registed-people list
i think this would make it easier, as the space is very limited atm

after i tested the tourney manager today i saw following:

- the finish tourney button is killing FAF http://pastebin.com/dQyrBkBG
- before i can launch the tourney, i have to kick all who are offline - these people are still in the score list
- one bracket was missing and one was two times there - Koecher vs chosen was missing
- i can't launch round 2 - luxuns 2. bracket had no result - was not possible to register the score (was changing the score from 1. bracket)
