Hello Stardust,

yes the Orbital Wars Reborn mod is out of date and the author "asdrubaelvect" has abandoned it 2014
Thats why i revived the old Orbital Wars mod. It's the last working and updated Orbital Wars mod:

Do you use the game.log for debugging or error searching ?
Or do you use the ingame debug log for it ?

If not, set your game to Windowed mode and press [F9] while playing.
A new (log) window will show up. Use it!

I did a fast search for blueprint errors. Please fix all errors and send me the mod again.
I did not checked any unit, that has no unitname. If you add the unitname then i need to check those units also.

Errors from strategic icons are almost because FAF has a "bigger icon support" build in, but many icons are missing.

OK, organized everything into a word doc so I don't lose track. Nearly 30 pages! You're GOOD.

I do wonder about what effect changing RULEUTL_X to Y will have, say, from Basic to Secret or whatever. But I've changed it as I've come across it.

The line about URA4411 not having a death animation works fine for me, as it just blows up in midair in a huge explosion, which looks downright cool. I'm gonna leave that as is. On space maps, it stands to reason that a ship could just vaporize itself :D

I've also left the icons alone (the parts that have to do with straticons.lua), as the game pulls from stock, which is sufficient for my purposes. I can still tell at a glance whether something is a sub, a ship to ship or anti-air platform, or an experimental.

As for AI support, how does one go about fixing that so the AI - particularly Sorian Water AIs - will make use of the new stuff?

If you want, you can use my privat unit debugger mod:

Activate my debugger and your mod and start the game.
Open the debug log window with [F9]

Now you can press [SHIFT]+[h] for some key shortcuts.

First check the units with [SHIFT]+[q] to find units without unit name.
Add a unit name to every unit in your mod.

The debugger will only check units with a unit name.
Then you can start debugging with all other functions from my mod.

Some functions from the debugger are related to translations etc.
This has nothing to do with units, so just ignore it :)
