hints for point defence placement

The idea is that when a player chooses where to place a PD, it will be shown how exactly terrain will affect the range of fire of this particular PD (with it's height, arc, whatever taken into account). So, for a simplified example, if there's a bump on the terrain, the hint will show PD's range as a green field and space behind the bump as a red cone.
I suppose it will be a useful tool for players of all levels.

Yeah that would be really nice. I guess it removes some of the annoying complexity from memorising maps or zooming way in and tilting the view. Might be really difficult to make though.

I have no idea myself, but I can imagine it would work somewhat like a light source tool in 3D graphic modelling, with PD's muzzle being the light source, an actual range being the light and blind spots being the shadow.

Uef and aeon t2 pd have arcs so light won't work
