I completly disagree...
The other factions are strongest in almost everything.
I really waiting for logical arguments to nerf ACUs.

I played 2 rankeds yesterday vs TAG_ROCK and Blackheart. Both said it's not possible to win vs aeon. We played the cold place and moonlight or so. Rock played cybran and blackheart played UEF. So if you don't believe me you can ask all top 50 players, they will tell you the same. Ok you said they are imballenced in team games but a 2vs2 is just 2x 1vs1.

Just curious, not skeptical as I play Aeon myself (at 850), what makes Aeon so good?

Then, any competitive player should play Aeon.

Yeah, I'm also going to be playing Aeon after the patch. They are very strong just difficult to play (until you get used to it).

I play Aeon almost exclusively and I find your original premise to be rediculous.

The Aeon ACU is not the Weakest, it is the STRONGEST. It has 2 gun upgrades, not 1. The range gun is substancial, and the fire rate is good. An Aeon ACU with both guns is very difficult to go up against. Against Cybran, the range gun can be combined with the extended sensor range. Which with the overcharge cannon can intercept Monkeylords and stealthed T3 units. The fire rate gun is nice for T1 spam, and combined with the engineering suite gives a good all round ACU. The Aeon ACU is perfect.

The T1 Aurora are vunerable to bombers, and this is one important aspect of playing Aeon. You MUST take the skies. Fortunately, they Aeon have the Swift Wind, which is a perfect suplement to interceptors, and lead in unit before ASF arrive.

T1 Aurora die to firebases... Seriously dude. Aurora have no buisness going up against that shit alone. So don't do it. Get the mobile shields to protect them, and you will be plesantly suprised with the results.

Nerf the Mercy. NO WAY... It is already a niche unit, and difficult to use. You base the T2 bomber comparison on single pass damage. A fighter bomber can make SEVERAL passes. The Mercy can only every make 1. It is a suicide unit, so the damage ought to be substancial.

Your suggestions are idiotic and exactly the opposite of what Aeon is and should be. If the changes you suggested were implemented, they would be just like any other faction. If that is truly what you want, then don't play Aeon! They are skill faction, and they take time to learn. But when you do know how to use them, they are awesome. ESPECIALLY in team games. Because then, the Aeon truly do come into their own. The strength of the Aeon can be used to support, while the other factions cover its weaknesses. Aeon is BEST in team games.

They have a kiting Aurora tank, which outrages all other T1 tanks. Their units typically combine high firepower with low armour and long range. So their units are protected by distance. their shield generators may be small, but they soak up a lot of damage. They have the Obsidian tank which does admirably against anything from T1 to T3. They have the second best point defence systems, and the best mobile flak units. A good portion of their army hovers, so they are much more capable with amphibious operations. They have good air control with the Swift Wind, and even better control with the Corona and the Restorer. They have one of the best land experimentals. The GC.

Everything within the Aeon arsenal works well together. The Infinity Class cruisers have excellent AA, and the Shard T1 AA boat is the only water based unit with credible AA in T1. The Exodus class destroyers do good damage, at long range, and the Omen Class Battleship has the highest speed and damage output of any Battleship (although it has the shortest range). This makes the Omen the most competent Battleship for killing Destroyers and Battle Cruisers. They also have the Torrent Class missile ship, which is unique to this faction, and the Keffer Class aircraft carrier, which can spam out ASF and Solace Torpeedo Bombers.

As for strategic weaponry, Aeon will dominate the field. The Emissary T3 artillery unit is the most accurate, and will always find its mark. Thanks to The Eye of Ryanne Optical Facility. The Eye gives Aeon a distinct intel advantage in the late game phase. They can always find in hit the most vunerable places. They have the Paragon, which then allows them to construct limitless numbers of anything.

They have a teleporting SCU, which thanks to the Eye, will be able to find the most vunerable places. It has an AoE gun, which will make short work of engineer spam, or anything short of T3.
