Meta-game suggestion

Postby Flynn » 12 Mar 2013, 08:57

I propose a structure that you can build which activates a second minimap which will show you where your opponent's attention is focusing on the map, i.e. whether he is zoomed in or out, looking at a certain part of the map, etc. This structure would only be available at T3 and would give anyone using it a tactical advantage so they would be able to distract their opponent by employing certain tactics. Like for instance launching an attack while their opponent is busy microing a transport or engineers.

Sorry just to clarify you wouldn't actually be able to see his units and base, you would just see like a magnifying glass over the part of the map that he is looking.

Show of hands, who plays with dual monitors?

*hand*

The reason I ask is that I use one monitor the way everyone uses it and I use the second monitor to just have the whole map so I can glance from on side to another, therefore, you would need to program the magnifying glass to distinguish both monitors.
