Excuse me, your right bat it is 6.875 t2 torp bombers = 1 t3 torp bomber; I may have been looking at energy costs by accident. Never the less when you examine t2 --> t3 bombers the cost ration is exactly 5. While when you examine torp bombers, like you said, the cost ratio is 6.875. Not only that , but they only do 2000 total damage so we either need to buff the damage by a lot or reduce the air crafts overall cost. Right now it's just too cost inneffective to make one because the results of building one is a lot less then the results of building the equal amount of t2 torp bombers.

Solace used to have 8 torpedoes dealing 500 damages :

It now launches only 4 so it's currently very UP considering its price.

It was probably changed in 3598 or 3599, but without any cost adjustment. GPG just decided to halve the total damages. It was probably OP at 4000 damages, but for the price, it should do at least 3000 damages. Or the price should be tuned down.

i just checked it.. there are 8 torps - so 4k dmg. db is wrong here

So the db needs fixing by someone. Whats new.

And before it can be fixed, we need the code for it, and we need to find all the errors.

Several times I was misleaded. For instance, I thought the fobo was completely OP because the DB says it does 93 DPS (!). But it's not exactly true, it "only" deals 78.75 DPS in general, when only the splitting projectiles hit, so it's not as bad as the DB make us think. However, when the parent projectile hit first and then split, hitting a unit with 6 projectiles instead of 5, then the DB is correct.

For the Solace, the DB doesn't take into account the parameter : racksalvo size = 2 which doubles the number of torpedoes.
The Solace is perfectly fine in game, but not in the DB.
