But for that we need the java server deployed. And now you're crossing into the deepest mud of FAF politics.

It would be nice if there was a preview function within the game lobby, so you could preview how the game's balance would change if you were to switch two players. Then you would at least know whether you are moving the game towards a higher vs. lower balance %, and how much it would change. That might speed up the process of trying to manually balance games.
