friendly unit collision remove

i think this will make the game more smooth in terms of ground mobility, my ACU gets blocked by engineers so many times and when u send like 5 engineers to build they push each other for the fastest route the the target, it all takes time that can be used for better things and it can help AI as well , seen AI bases with his ACU trapped inside because of t1 ground units.

We quite like that feature so it won't be removed. Not to say it would look dumb.

I hate that feature, especially when your com is not executing orders because of engies blocking him. That is really dumb.

so why not make it only work for some units? ACU , sup ACU , t1 t2 t3 engineers will ignore collision with all friendly units ( but not buildings ) and the rest will stay the same.

Feel free to make a mod that does it, but it's not gonna change in the FAF patch.

actually im not sure this is even possible.

the engine uses mehsextents to calculate pathfinding.

the meshextents are defined by the engine and you can only change them via changing the physical model size.
the types of pathfinding are also defined entirely by the engine.

so unless you somehow manage to override one or both of those its gonna be the same as before.
