Change To The Restrictions Screen

Don't host games with restrictions. Problem solved

How is this a problem? One session to quickly mouse over the symbols to find the ones you want (They're all there) and you're done. They have tooltips...

Mousing over the icons doesn't come up with anything. I've already tried that.

No, nothing shows up when hovering over the icons. Hovering over the individual units below shows their stats.

Hello AaronD,

you posted the forever.log, but i need the log from the game. "game.log".

Start the game, go to the unitmanager, and move the mouse over those icons. Hopefully this will post a error inside Game.log.
Then close the game, and post the game.log.

But i can't reproduce the error. :/

Maybe we have some modified or old FAF game files.

Please go to C:\ProgramData\
make a copy from FAForever, so we have a backup

Then go to C:\ProgramData\FAForever\gamedata
Delete everything inside gamedata.

Start "Fa Forever", klick play, select FAF and host a game.
FAF will reload all gamefiles and you can test again.

Well i dont have the steam version of the game, so i dont know how to get there.

I am looking for odd or modified files inside the game.
You can take a look inside the steaminstallation and search for all files.

Then compare all timestamps. Normaly they should be all the same (Installation Date)
Maybe there are newer or older files in there ?

Delete all files with a different date. Then let steam verify all gamefiles and try again.

I've just come back to play another game, and remembered the problem that I'm having. Without anything popping up when I hover over it I can't tell what each symbol on the restrictions screen actually represents. I've just deleted and re-installed both FAF and Forged alliance, but the issue persist.
