Paid Avatars to generate tournament money

I don't really like the idea of monetising avatars, I think we need a proper avatar system (one where you can actually earn them) before we start handing them out left right and centre.

The specific trouble with selling them is that people can then rightly keep hold of them forever, which means any future system would be polluted by these custom avatars.

If people are really tied to the idea of selling stuff, might I suggest avatars are leased instead?

I think we'd have trouble getting people to rent avatars.

Yeah, "leasing" an avatar means you would unexpectedly lose it because reason "whatever" has issues with it and etc.

Couldnt you just have a 5 eur monthly for donator avatar and 10 eur monthly for custom avatar. They go away after you stop paying monthly? Prices obviously dont have to be 5 and 10 eur
