I don't think it's anything on my end, would this mod need to be whitelisted again?

Is not a whitelist problem, just need wait Duck_42 update the script for 2.6/2.7 compatibility.

In the last lobby update they shadowed the lobby.lua file so it cannot be hooked. Bottom line is the game now ignores any SCD mods that change the lobby.

I'm currently working on integrating the lobby manger code into the FA codebase. Once it's part of the standard lobby, it'll be available to everyone.

Xinnony, I guess you did that from Nomads mod, or another featured mod you work on?

The way it works now is *.scd mods ("normal mods") can't modify the lobby, but featured mods can.
You mentioned it was bad: did you have some problems with your mod? The new version aims to have a much nicer modding API. There's a bunch of cool classes in `ui/controls` you might want to loo kat: makes building UIs a lot more pleasant.

This was done because many mods contained now-problematic lobby hooks, most of which aren't necessary any more.

Alas, the whole *point* of this mod is to change to lobby, so we kinda broke that. This reminds me I should take a closer look at the code here. Sorry for the delay, Duck! I've been a bit busy unbreaking coop recently.

Any progress on this?
Sorry if I seem impatient, it's just that this is such a great tool :)

Any progress on this? Any way to hook in using the new code? Anything I can do/research/code to help. This tool is great, it's a big loss without it.

I apologize for not posting a response sooner. I've been busy with other things.

In any case, I did write some revised Lobby Manager code for integration into the FA code base and I submitted it for review on 4/26/15. See https://github.com/FAForever/fa/pull/579.

The FAF dev team wants to further integrate the functionality into the FAF client, but I have no idea how long that will take (and I don't have enough time available to contribute to that effort).

Like some of you, I'm disappointed in the end result (at least as it stands today). I spent many hours writing and supporting this tool and found it to be very useful. It's a shame we can't use it. Hopefully, it will return at some point in the future.

@Duck_42
@Sheeo

Hi Duck- Any chance you will be able to look into the issues Sheeo mentioned at Github?
