lazyshare with faf rating

it was a little annoying that the faf rating score mod by Moritz (viewtopic.php?f=41&t=1246) doesn't work together with the Lazyshare mod by SvartfaR (the faf rating won't be displayed), so i inlined the rating display to the lazyshare mod

if you want to use it, extract the file to the \mods folder in your install directory
(it's a UI mod, you will have to enable it in the lobby before starting a game)

Hmm this is not working for me. The [rating] is not showing with your version of lazyshare.

I tried both rating mods: Moritz and Ghoti

I am using the following mods: GAZ_UI, hotbuild, hotstats

Also, I dont like how lazyshare divides the scores by 1000... Wonder if there is a way to change it back to normal

somehow it sometimes takes a minute until it gets the player rating of some players, means until that point no rating is shown, but that happens not all too often
i also use all three mods you listed, works fine

i had no problem with it yet, maybe you need to remove the _playerrating.faf file from the gamedata folder if you haven't done so already

if you just use the score mod, your rating will not be divided by 1000 (or 1000000).

but there is an annoying bug:
12300 points get displayed as 12k
12300000 points get displayed as 12k as well. it should be 12M !!!


besides that i like that all your teammates are displayed in an organge color. this way you see easily which team has the best chances of winning.

i'm not responsible for the content, bugs & fixes for each of the mods, i'm just offering you the combination of these two mods (as they don't get along with each other having them divided in two mods), you're free to use or reject it

as you said, it's awesome that all teammates are displayed in an orange color, it helps me too

Rise from the dead! I just started playing FAF and found that the rating mod would be useful as well as the lazyshare.......would it be weird if in my FAF install directory i dont have 'gamedata' or 'mods' ??? i tried placing just the rating mod file in all the different folders and didn't get any results... help!

i meant the install directory of supcom FA, not FaForever

you can also try to put it to
C:\Users\<yourUsername>\Documents\My Games\Gas Powered Games\Supreme Commander Forged Alliance\Mods
and check if it works, if the \Mods folder isn't there just create it

Here's where i have it put:
C:\Users\(myUsername)\Documents\My Games\Gas Powered Games\Supreme Commander Forged Alliance\Mods
In that folder i have: _ratingscore.faf

STILL wont acknowledge it

In the SUPCOM FA folder i have the following folders:
Maps
Mods (which i created) There is also a 'Handicap' folder in there
replays
savegames

this mod is just a slight modefcation from lazyshare, test if it works when you delete the _ratingscore.faf
