As complement to my previous posts :

You can add your unity animations to blender then to sca supcom format.

You need the fbx exporter package https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/e ... ter-101408

And now you have access to thousands of animations that you can link to all your humanoid units. https://assetstore.unity.com/categories/3d/animations

Of course you need to rig your models (https://docs.unity3d.com/Manual/UsingHumanoidChars.html)

That is simply insane fun !

Small question do you could integrate a Model for an Infantry Unit into Forged Alliance?
I have several Concepts and a ideas for some Infantry units for each Faction for my Mod. Burnie has create Infantry Units for his Battle Sector Earth Mod, but it was not released so far to check out these interesting Units.
Maybe you could start a experiment and it would be help me to have a Basic Unit for other Infantry Classes. :)

Yes you can. There are some interesting models to find.

A good concept would be a tech 3 special infantry. Like starcraft Protoss templar type infantry. An infantry with a special ability. or like the Terran ghost infantry.

Personally, i would prefer humanoids because i can add really fantastic animations. And there are near all same for humanoids. And you can make several humanoid units (heavy armored, snipers, Fast assault...)

About models, humanoids are not easy to draw :
1. Maybe you can work from existing FA models (SACU, UEF titans...) and change some characteristics (extrude some parts, change some scale parts, change textures...). This is the best way to stay in the mood. Even God made the woman from the man work :) !

2. import external models. This not easy to find good humanoid models. But i think that there are the most exciting models. You may need to do some retopo to lower the poly count.

---- This one looks fantastic cool : Only 5k poly. https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/char ... fi-soldier

---- If you have some cash, you can make a full game with this kind of stuff (10k polys, 110 animations !, rigged !).
----- Imagine this one for Aeon princess elite women guards (you can limit the total number in game you can build).
----- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pcpn-ZhDf88

---- Or this one for seraphim. (10k poly too, animated, rigged)

You can find humanoid models everywhere. Maybe battletech one can be cool too, gundam models... it's all matter of taste and goals.

Well but for me is a free low poly 3D Model of an Soldier the best.
But I need someone, which can make several Animations for it like Walk, Abilities and more.
The other stuff to change the Model for the Faction design, Texture and more would be easy for me.
So I think that is the best way to make them. Remember these Infantry Units are small ingame and don't need a high poly Model.
