Many of the graphical reductions have been returned to normal - but are implemented with a dynamic system that will turn them down - or off - if the sim speed drops below zero.
As for the AI - you really can't have the AI without all the background work that went into making it possible in the first place - and that includes much of the performance improvements. While certainly some of the structural concepts could be moved over - and definitions and such - LOUD has re-written or created many of it's own functions, which would require extensive hooking to be used as a part of the vanilla or FAF codebase. That would be a great deal of work - possible - but a task for someone else I'm afraid.
