From the warnings in the log, I can tell that the update didn't complete successfully, and you are missing files. Please run the update function again, and make sure there are no errors when complete. At that point, the switch function should work correctly.

Please post and let me know your results.

Thanks

As a user of LOUD, I heartily recommend it. Both what it does - and how the team supports it - is great!

Its challenging, even in the late game (where stock and Sorian struggled) - performance is sweet even with large numbers of units. It's definitely worth using!

I found this post recently and decided to do a fresh Supcom FA install with this mod. OMFG! this is best mod ever! The performance increase is a game changer and that alone means I will never bother with anything less going forward but you guys included the best mods too so the experience is perfect. I love it. :)

One question. I installed the mod on a fresh install of disk supcom fa patched to 3603 beta. I also have the game on steam. My question is if I install this mod with the steam version will it change it to the 3603 beta? If not, will it still include the better memory tweaks that came with the beta, that made it harder to hit the 3gb limit and crash the game?

Last I checked it was its own thing 1.11 or something odd. Also, it doesn't handle memory like the 3603 beta and game will crash on larger maps because hits 3gb memory limit for 32 bit applications. The 3603 beta can also get to the 3gb limit and crash just takes more units larger map etc... I tested this back and forth between the two versions.

To the devs of this mod, there is a problem with latest updates, the large build cost rate window starts out and stays stuck on the UI when observing the AI in multiplayer match. Also, It starts out there when playing(not observing) but then disappears. In addition, this happens even with all the mods disabled.

Well, I am not a programmer just a gamer so not sure why but the 3603 beta patch with disk is much more stable than steam version. In the steam version it is easy to hit the 3GB limit. You can do it on a 20k x 20k map with 4 players.

In the 3603 beta with disk install, it takes a 80k x 80k map and higher unit limit to get memory to 3GB with game crash. I always thought it was because of the 3603 beta patch because on the disk version prior to beta patch it behaved like steam version and easy to reach memory limit.

Thank you :) btw I bought the ashes of singularity escalation game on steam sale recently. In my opinion it is nowhere near as good as FA with LOUD aI mod, not even close. All that game made me do was go back and play FA again, thats when I found this awesome mod.
