Shared intel rigns with allies, is it possible?

Pretty simple question, can we make it so that allies' units/buildings' range rings become visible just like our own?
Because seeing the range of your allies' radar, omni, sonar, anti-nuke, etc. would be very, very helpful.

Another question, would it be just UI or simside?

I've been thinking about this too, same would apply to attack range. "Can the T3 arty reach there?" "Can your nukesub shoot from there?" etc.

To see omnis, PD and radars you can just select your own and put it on top of your teammates. Scince artys are different i'd like to have this ability.

This is a brilliant idea and should be implemented.

If we can't so it properly we can do it this way:

Washy made a mod to show engineer build range - we take circle from this. Maybe image would be distorted at huge scale.

Washy made a mod to share team eco stats - we take info sharing from this.

I wish devs would do more UI enhancements and less balance fixes.

Range rings are only displayed for selected units.
You can't select a unit that is not in your army.

I would not implement this into the game but maybe someone in a mod:

1. Hooking the mouseover tooltip from allied / enemy unit.
2. Get the blueprint from this unit.
3. Loop over all weapons and look for the weapon with highest range.
4. Draw the range with DrawCircle(Unit.Position, Weaponrange, Color)
5. If you don't want a flickering rangering, then you need to refresh the circle every 2 ticks.

Done.
