I think this was - always has been a problem with the T2 heavy tanks. Only now am I seeing Pillars appearing on the field, they seem to have finally got the balance right for them, but Im still not seeing Obsidians or Rhinos. Infact I'm seeing Wagners being built quite often on pure land maps, but still almost never Rhinos. Anyone know off the top of their heads, the relative buffs that the 3 heavy T2 tanks have received?
I think there is truth to your observations about Obsidian being a specialist T2 counter that isn't efficient compared to T3. The Rhino's main problem I think is that its weapon is often blocked by terrain, maybe making the turret higher could help with that. Both problems are compounded by the fact that T2 is often the smallest tech stage window in the game, and its almost never not overlapping with another Tech.
