That's kind of what I was referring to when I pointed out it is another level.

And before the tripling of the power cost for mass fabs, Nearly every SCU you built and RASd, was a mass fab you could get for free. So SCU RAS represented 20 mass increase. Not to mention that if you were kicking them out fast, eventually you wouldn't even power stall while increasing it like that. Although remember, five SCU RAS is at minimum, 50 Mass per tick. T3with mexes counts as 5 units for 27 Mass Per Tick unless you use the mass and energy storage mod whcih bumps it to 31.

So actually, per unit count, SCU RAS is pretty damned good. But its such an exclusively late game strategy it isn't funny. It shouldn't be considered until the 45 minute mark, and then you might as well order twenty of them and just have someone alert you when you might be needed.
