Cannot login

Hi All I have been playing FAF for sometime without a problem then my PC lost the saved credentials.
I have tried to reset my account and create a new account nether seem to work I got a http 500 trying to activate my new account and a http 500 trying to reset my old account.
I cannot for sure remember the exact spelling for the original account but pretty sure I know the email address it says its in use if I try to use it to recreate.
I just don't know short of creating anther email account how to get back in or who to contact.

Did you use the links from the client login window? With a new site we've got a new address for account-related things, the link in the client leads to an old site which is being replaced with something more modern. Try this link:

We're putting new links into the client with the next release.

Thanks I tried this link but it says either my id or email address is not valid I don't know my users ID for sure but if I try to recreate an account it says the email address is already in use so it must be a incorrect user ID can somebody send it to me if via a PM please

Piggybacking on this thread as I have the exact same problem.

It's been a long time since I last used FAF but I have my username and password written down. I'm unable to login or request a new one via email.

I also tried the link for new account related things site but it didn't work for me.

Any help you can give would be appreciated.

im having the exact same issue i had my logins on a text file and they dont work and when i use the new page to reset account it always says
"Error! Username and/or email did not match." no matter what email or password or username i use
