Recommendations for Germany & Scotland

Last year I visited the wonderful country of Ireland which was one of the most relaxing and intriguing trips I have embarked in to date.

This up and coming fall I will be in Germany and Scotland. If anyone from the area could recommend unique, interesting things to do I would appreciate it!

Fyi, I'm not a big drinker so Oktoberfest is not up my alley.

Otherwise, I'm pretty open!

depending on the dates I can recommend the "DOM" in hamburg if you want some fair rides and unhealthy foods
don't visit neuschwanstein
maybe get a daytrip to sylt or helgoland for north german flair or visit warnemünde for some beach days.
