Blackops Project Information
The information below will be current status & change log information for all official Blackops projects. I will try to keep the overall information as up to date as possible. Full logs are generally found in the original thread links to the project which will be included here so players can look there for newer updates or manual install files.

Feel free to post bugs either in this forum or in the respective mod's GPG thread. We do read both locations and try to respond on any issues that arise.

Note: Not all projects may be available on FAF yet but they have been included here so players will know what to expect.

Blackops: Unleashed (BO:U)

Type: Unit Pack
Requires:
- SCD/ZIP : BOGIS
Development Status: Finalizing - Attempting to wrap up & top off existing content
Change Overview:
- 59 New Units & Buildings (14 Aeon, 17 Cybran, 14 Seraphim, 14 UEF)
- 13 New Experimentals (3 Aeon, 3 Cybran, 4 Seraphim, 3 UEF)
- Transparent Cloaks
- Anti-Teleport System & Teleport Range Limiter
- Split Targetting Queues (Carpet Bombing Effect)
- Ability to construct T2 & T3 factories with engineer of that level.
- Ability to construct Tier 4 Cybran Shield with T3 engineer.
Known Incompatibilities:
- Original 4th Dimension (Descriptions & Balance Specifically)

Blackops: Special Weapons (BO:SpecWep)

Development Status: In Progress - Additional Units Planned
Change Overview:
- 6 New Units & Buildings (2 Aeon, 2 Cybran, 0 Seraphim, 2 UEF)
- 2 New Experimentals (0 Aeon, 0 Cybran, 0 Seraphim, 2 UEF)
Known Incompatibilities:
- None

Blackops: Advanced Command Units (BO:ACUs)

Type: ACU Rewrite
Requires:
- SCD/ZIP : BOGIS
Development Status: Complete - Until we get around to SCUs
Change Overview:
- New ACU Models & Roughly 24 Upgrades per faction
- Upgrades organized into Trees to make advancement options easier to identify.
- Each upgrade provides a health boost to the ACU.
- Endgame ACU Health ranges from 60,000 HP to 80,000 HP.
- Endgame ACU Firepower (DPS) ranges from 1200 to 2200+ dps.
- Upgrades times set up so that Endgame Maxed Upgrades occurs at about 1hr+ mark.
- Cheaper/Faster Teleporter Charging & ACU Teleportation Range Circles. (Marked by Counter Intel Ring)
- Transparent Cloaks
- Anti-Teleport System & Teleport Range Limiter
- Default & Sorian AI Support. Duncane's AI has been reported to function.
Known Incompatibilities:
- Original 4th Dimension (Descriptions & Balance Specifically)
- Original TotalVet (Breaks RAS Effect - Otherwise no issue)
- TotalVet TVg by Ghaleon (Range Buffs Cause Minor Issue - Otherwise no issues)


Blackops: Balance

Type: Balance Adjustments
Requires:
- FAF Featured : BO:U
- SCD/ZIP : BOGIS & BO:U
Development Status: Continuous Development - Depends on other projects
Change Overview:
- Reduction to Aircraft Fuel Capacity
- Various Air Balance Adjustments
- Omni & Radar Range Reduction
- SCU or T4 ACU Required for High End Experimental Construction
- Experimenals buildable by t3 engineers are as follows:
--- Aeon: Galactic Colosus, Czar
--- Cybran: Monkeylord, Gargantuan
--- Seraphim: Uttaus-Athellu(T4PD), Ythotha
--- UEF: Fatboy, Atlantis
Known Incompatibilities:
- Same as BO:U

Blackops: Naval Rebalance

Type: Naval Specific Adjustments
Requires:
- None
Development Status: Complete - Not enough feedback to adjust farther
Change Overview:
- Adjusted all naval tactical missile target priorities (No more going after moving ships as priority)
- Rebalanced torpedo/main gun balance on Destroyers, Battlecruisers & Sub Hunters. These are now better anti-naval.
- Rebalanced main gun weapon range/damage on Frigate, Cruiser, & Battleships. These are now better Bombard.
- Readjusted ALL naval AA weapons. Cruisers still win in DPS but all ships with AA now have teeth.
Known Incompatibilities:
- None

Blackops: Global Icon Support (BOGIS) (Not Needed for FAF Featured)

Type: Support

Development Status: Complete
Change Overview:
- Provides Icon Loading Support for other Projects (Blackops & other unit packs)
Known Incompatibilities:
- Older mods with built-in icon scripts MAY prevent proper functionality. If you are seeing blue "placeholder" icons then thats probably what happened.

Are all the above mods included or going to be included in the Blackops download on FAF or will they be able to be downloaded separately at a later date?
Also, I love the Blackops ACU mod, glad to see its kicking

All the mods will eventually be available through FAF. We are waiting for them to add an "options" screen so that players can enable/disable the individual components like you could do with the Mod Manager version. Default will have them all enabled though.

Just an update... BO:ACUs has been added to the FAF Featured list.
I know its been like that for about a month but I didn't think to update this lol :roll:

Is there any update about the other BO mods in FAF, or is it still "just" BO:U and BO:ACU?

i'pretty sure these are all BO mods, you can switch on/off ACU/unleashed as far as i know when you are in the gamelobby

Does anyone have direct links to these mods i want to use them in skirmish and in campaign mode and have fun with them.

I cant download from gpg forums cause they have taken it down is what I'm guessing haven't bin able to access for a while now.

The links still work and are present in the GPG links listed in the OP. Just look carefully, they are usually listed after the images or after all the per-requisite mods.
