Compatibility question..
Originally the mod was only dependent of the officially patched game (and itself in case of its separate-mod parts).
Will this "bug-fix and polishing overhaul" keep that part? :) ... or will it be tied to the mod "Forged Alliance Forever" :( ?

I know there is possibility to play Vanilla with FAF too, but that will not actually let one play the Vanilla as it was officially finished, because some things keep being FAF-ized. So if one really wants to play Vanilla, one has to start the base game.

As you can see here in the BlackOps Release Schedule:

Its planed to implement the mod as featured, but simultaneously as normal mod. This way it can later be used without FAF.

After this is done i will try to make the BO Unleshed mod compatible to older gameversions. And this is not a easy part, many things have changed since vanilla.
And i am not sure if we can make the Advanced ACU mod compatible. The whole scripts are rewritten.

But until then this mod needs the FAForever game version 3652 or higher.

Mods move with the base game, always have, always will. There will not be a compatibility version released. Much of the code in BlackOps 10+ is dependant on bugfixes and other code changes made by FAF, exactly as it would be were it GPG making changes rather than the community, and the balance of the mod will also evolve over time to reflect and integrate better with the FAF metagame.

The old order is dead. It's time to move on.

I honestly believe this is a waste of your time. If people want to run blackops on steam or retail they can always use the old release, nothing is stopping them.

yes and no :)

Sure they can use the old BO releases. But the new BO version is so far better then the old.

And i didn't say i will make a compatible version. I sayed "i'll try".

Maybe i can do it, or maybe not. But at least i care about it. ;)

Unless it's making the V10 compatible you can't anyway. All old versions are going to be purged remember.

Is it possible to rebuild the UEF T2 Spy Satellite (Hawkeye)? If no, why? If yes, how?
It can be shot down by Strategic Missile Defense, but it can't be rebuilt. This seems a little silly.
