Connection Issues

Postby lighterthief » 14 Mar 2015, 22:33

Hello,

I have been having connection issues that I have been unable to resolve. I can play 1v1 games with few problems but whenever I try and join a a larger multi-player game I always have connection issues to one or more of the players. I would like some help in diagnosing the problem and resolving my issues with multiplayer games.

The FAF proxy server seems to be working ok. I have worked my way through the suggested fixes such as activating uPnp, using DMZ, port forwarding, disabling firewalls etc but I havent managed to fix the problem. I could really use the help of someone more knowledgable in fixing the problem.

Here are my logs:

Here is a paste of mt natrace scan

Please help!

Id really like to be able to play a multiplayer game :)

From your log, your client was unable to bind its local proxy relayers -- you will be getting an error about this when starting the client as well.

It typically means you already have FAF running, or in rare cases something is preventing it from binding to the ports.

Hi Sheeo thanks for the response,

I don't get any error warnings when I start up, I don't think it is because FAF is already running, because if it is I get an error warning saying so.

I don't seem to have many problems playing 1v1 ladder and I have tried to open the relavent ports using a port forwarding software program as per the suggested fix.
