Live replays continuing past in-game time

Tonight I saw a livereplay that let me fast-forward past the in-game time with all the problems that causes. It was at, CST, 21:32, this game:
Live Replay on zorg rampage.v0001 : livereplay:GPGNET://88.191.143.136/BattleMachine.SCFAReplay
Players: BattleMachine, DexarC, Gunseng, buildmoretanks

This is the only replay in which I have observed this problem since the very beginning of FAF... but if I see more of it I'll post again. It does seem odd that this bug showed up... it doesn't seem to happen in all replays, certainly not ranked.... but does seem to happen in custom games.

Hmm.

Maybe some kind of ghost connection problem?
If the server does not detect that the sender has disconnected, it will not stop or close the replay.

There was a similar problem I saw:
I was watching a replay with someone that died and left, but the replay kept going.
