FAF - application hanging?

Hi,

first I want to say that this is one of the best community game projects of all time, THANK YOU!

The FAF application is not running smoothly all the time on my computer. ~80% everything is ok, but sometims the application hangs. Also the application hangs for about 2 minutes when I start it.

I now it's beta, my question is: Am I the only one having these problems and can I fix this?
If more ppl got these problems, can we provide any info to help solving this?

At connection, it can be the uniqueId generator.

The hanging can happens when the lobby waits for a server answer and didn't receive the answer(because two commands are sent at the same time ?).
It will be reworked.

Also, there is minecraft server next to it, so something it slow things down It run on a intel Nano processor...

- Do you have any firewall activated ?
- Do you have any anti virus activated ?

If so, can you try to disable them before launching, see if it solve the issue ?

I am using Avira AntiVir Premium.
Disabling the Webguard (not the Guard) makes faf start in less then a second (minutes befor) - WOW

the webguard is pretty miserable. It made Google Chrome very slow in the past.
my license for avira is valid til october 2012. will not renew it if stays crappy like this.

It's because it block access to WMI api in windows
