- This forum is forum seeking technical help about FA on FAF or FAF LOBBY ONLY.

- Before posting a crash report, try to disable all your mods (UI or not). If the problem is solved by doing that, enable them one by one until it breaks. Then post the name/code of the faulty mod, with logs.

- Some (bad) custom maps can also break the lobby, remove them all temporarily to test if the issue still occurs.

- Try to disable your antivirus and firewall (and peerblock or any network control related software) and retry. If it works without, it's related to their configuration, no need to post here. Don't worry, You or your computer won't die if you don't have an antivirus running for some minutes.

- If you don't post logs, we will try to put our mind readers team on it. Result may vary (probably no answer).

- windows XP is an 12 years old OS. I don't have it, Microsoft doesn't support it anymore, and by extension, I don't support it either.
FAF may or may not work on XP, no support will be given. It's probably time for you to upgrade for an OS of this decade.

- Linux and Mac are not supported. It's too much work to support two or three platforms, and FA itself is not officially supported by either of them.
To fix this :
You can use bootcamp (http://www.apple.com/fr/support/bootcamp/) on a Mac. Last version of wine support FAF and FA, but no support will be provided.

- If you find a solution yourself, post it for future generations.
