Hi folks,

I've been facing the freeze\hangs issue very often (almost every game), but the interesting thing is that hangs occurs closer to the end of the match. I tried to check out the game logs myself, but seeing only game logic errors (or smth like that), they don’t look like a fatal one.
All games I host on my PC while playing with second players and a couple of ALX Adaptive bots. Game not crash, it just freezes - no game sound, I can move my mouse cursor over the window but also I observe no GPU activity after that point. Other player are still able to interact with the game, like select units, he has a game sounds, able to move the camera, like the host player is just dropped - game time is freezed for him.

I don't know how I can fix this, that really makes me crazy.
Host specs also attached in dxdiag output.

P.S. I will attach more logs once this happens again, looks like they are rotating (only one instance of game.log exists).

One more, match took only 54 minutes.

Hello Draiget,

i also had a freezed game last week.
So there is a good chance that this error is not on your side.

Since you are playing AI games, do me a favor.

Please download my AI mod (version 81):
viewtopic.php?f=88&t=16381

You can install it like any other mod.
Just copy the AI mod to your modfolder.

Activate it and use the "AIx Uveso Adaptive" sub AI.
After a gamefreeze, please post the game.log.
(my AI has some advanced debug features and will be a bit more informative about what is going on here.)

We are still searching for this deadloop.

Sadly there is no error line or any hint where the game is looping.
So we have to check every game function to trace this down.

Tested without mod "Nothing but time", but only with some new units. Now game crashing close to the end of match. Two times it freezed, when match was won.
Is there any way to debug game, like attach to current game and inspect which lua (or maybe not lua) functions are executing right now?

I wished it would be so easy.

There is no way to tell what function is currently running.
It's even more worse because you can't print to the debug log when the game-sim is freezed.

Dead loops are the nastiest errors at all.
Insane hard to trace.
