Sound doesn't work when FA launched via FAF automatch

You can also disable audio controller in bios, load into windows (you should have no sound), then restart, reenable audio controller. That was what fixed the no sound issue for me. And having no surround sound is very important as well.

Thanks, I've tried updating my sound driver but it says "the best driver for your device is already installed" My windows is already up to date.

You can't trust Windows on this, what you need to do is force uninstall the sound driver, restart, then reinstall it. The alternative is to disable audio controllers in the bios, load into windows, restart, renable audio controllers, then boot into Windows.

Sorry havent been around but Cetea explains it better and I am having the same problem on my basement PC so am going to try it again with this other pc.
