Steam account will not link

Hi guys it is failing to detect my copy of forged alliance when linking steam account, any help would be appreciated.

make sure your steam profile is public - otherwise the steam api cannot look at your profile to check for the game

according to the OP the steam profile was public but an additional privacy setting for the games was not
changing the privacy setting fixed it for him
