Can't link to Steam

Hello Support,

I can't link my Steam profile to my FAF-Account.

I opened the client and log in. Then I pressed Options/Settings/Link Account to Steam.
I clicked on the grey button, log in in Steam, but after I return to the FAF-Site I get the error:
Error! Could not look up games list - make sure your Steam profile is set to public.

I set it to public in every option. I will upload a screenshot of my privacy settings.
I tried it with Firefox and Edge. I use a Steam authenticator.
I use a account that i have created a year ago. I never really used it until today.

Please try again, there was a configuration problem in the backend.

sorry for the offtopic:

If i want re install FAF + game, can i do it installing the game from steam but then downloading FAF Client? because i dont know where my cds are...

Yes, FAF fully supports the Steam version of FA.
