Cannot create an account

Postby samus759 » 08 Mar 2016, 21:03

Hi everyone, I downloaded the FAF software and I needed to make an account to continue. When I receive the confirmation letter in my e-mail address, I click on it and the page says it doesn't exist.

Second thing, I'm not sure what to do after this step if anyone have an idea.

Thank you!

Do the following: copy your URL to preferred Notepad(++), you are interested in this part:
"http://app.faforever.comvalidateAccount.php?" , make it so it looks exactly as the following:

http://app.faforever.com/faf/validateAccount.php?

Be absolutely sure to match case of "validateAccount.php", as this somewhy matters. And clear the slash if there is one between "php" and "?".
Worked for me.
