Whats wrong with playing in your own tourney?

If you're going to claim some kind of map or rules advantage to them then I say suck it up and play, no-one was stopping you from hosting a tourney and playing in that.

It's unknowable if you will use an RNG or fix it; that's why tourneys have neutral parties.

There are numerous ways to retrieve random numbers which cannot reasonable be manipulated.
for example: use the md5 hash of the headline of the new york times on a predefined date as a source for random numbers
using: http://www.random.org/integers/?mode=advanced
and checkboxing: Use pregenerated randomization based on persistent identifier
