Unique Id Incorrect error after updating lobby to 570

Hi all,

I've successfully updated and patched FAF many times, however, today when I updated the lobby to 570 (after updating my .NET framework) I can no longer log in.

When trying to log in I get a first error saying "Unable to log in. You probably need to update the lobby" - which I have already done. When I click OK all I then get is an error saying "Unique Id Incorrect" and get dumped back to the login screen.

Can anyone help?

You don't send a uniqueId at all. I can't do anything for you.

What is your OS, version, .... ?

what do you mean you can't do anything for me?

I can't log in - it's quoting me "Error from Server" saying "Unique Id Incorrect".

I've tried creating another account linked to a different email and getting the same error with the new account.

I've tried uninstalling FAF and reinstalling 570 from scratch, and still get the same error. Does this mean I can no longer play FAF?

The unique id is mandatory to login, and tie to your computer.

ok - so how is the unique Id tied in and any ideas how we can get it back in sync with the server?

The problem has been resolved.

I had to reset my password two time, and while i was updating hhe lobby asked for the 570 version.
It took much time.
I did it on vista 32bit.

ON my notebook with seven, it works fast with no problem.

Tried resetting my password, got no email. My account remains borked.
